Terms & Policy

Clients sign up with automatic and manual verification. Professionals complete a profile (identity, expertise, resume) that a Processor must verify before any bid is visible. Verification can be rejected with a stated reason; a resubmission loop is always available.

Processor accounts are invite-only and issued by A Leaf Organization.

Jobs are posted through the standard wizard, pass an automatic PII and spam check, and are published only after Processor review. Physical-work jobs are routed to the Request Box for processor quoting and assignment.

Professionals on SayIT are Bangladesh-verified vendors — identity confirmed via NID and +880 mobile by a Processor. Clients may be individuals or organizations located anywhere in the world.

Professionals see only expertise-matched jobs and bid with task-related details only. Clients see anonymized bids until they accept the Terms & Policy consent gate; acceptance unlocks bidder details for selection and moderated Q&A.

Personal details — names, phone numbers, email addresses, links — are never exposed across the wall. All in-app messages pass an automatic PII filter; flagged messages go to manual Processor review.

Attempted contact-detail circumvention results in a blocked message and a strike. Three strikes result in account termination.

Commission is tiered by contract value and resolved at the moment escrow is funded. The resolved rates (vendor commission, client service fee, tier band, concierge flag) are written onto the Contract and never re-computed. Later changes to the fee schedule do not affect existing contracts.

The client service fee is added on top of the winning bid and displayed as a separate transparent line before signing. The vendor commission is deducted from the payout and shown net before signing. Minimum floors: ৳100 vendor, ৳50 client. Payment-processor costs are absorbed inside the commission.

Contracts of ৳5,00,000 or more enter the Concierge tier: fees within 6–8% vendor / 2–3% client are negotiated, and a Processor personally manages the deal.

The platform operates in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) as its base currency; USD display is a convenience conversion for international clients and does not change the contract value. Vendors must be Bangladesh-verified; clients may be located anywhere.

If scope changes mid-contract, unfunded milestones re-resolve against the current tier; already-funded milestones retain their snapshotted rate.

Funds are held in escrow from the moment the client funds a contract. Escrow releases only on client approval of delivery or on an arbitration decision — never automatically, never on request alone.

Milestones are tracked and approved individually; approved milestones release their share of escrow.

SayIT operates a three-strike moderation policy for message violations. Each violation is logged with evidence and the decision is reviewable by a conflict-free Processor.

A Processor who bids on a job permanently loses all verification and moderation rights over that job; another Processor assumes them.

Disputes are arbitrated by a conflict-free Processor. Outcomes release escrow, refund it, or split it — and adjust fees proportionally.

A full refund or cancellation returns commission pro-rata to the refunded amount.

Ratings may be given only after a contract is completed, and both sides rate. Ratings feed the matching engine.
